It has been way too long since I’ve posted anything here! I am just now getting back into the swing of things. It was a busy, busy summer for me. It started in June with a two-week visit from my sister and brother-in-law, a three-week visit from my mom in July, and a two-week trip back home with my mom in August. Once I got back I had a club to prepare for and then it was right into getting ready for the booth I shared with a friend at the Colorado Springs Women’s Living EXPO 2016 last weekend. I think things are back to normal…whatever “normal” is.
I’ve had this card and box done for a while. I’ve been wanting to share it with you. But I wanted to create a video to go along with the box and card.
I finally had the opportunity to create a video for them today. I’ve done this project in two parts. Part 1 is the card and part 2 is the box. I hope you enjoy. There is a PDF file you can print if you like. There is a list of items you need at the end of this post and in the printable PDF.
Enjoy yourself while you watch and create. Let me know how things turn out.
Here is the link for the PDF file I promised.
Until next time…
It has been awhile since I posted last because June has been a busy month. The first two weeks were spent on vacation while my sister and brother-in-law visited from Ohio. We spent the better part of the two weeks traveling with them. We drove to both Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks in Utah, Las Vegas, Nevada, and finally Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado. While in Southern Colorado we also visited Four Corners Monument. It is part of the Navajo Nation’s Parks and Recreation and the only place in the United States where four states, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado meet at one point.
Unfortunately vacation went by way too quickly and before I knew it, they were back on an airplane headed home. It was tons of fun and I am looking forward to the next time we are together. I’ve been trying to think of when I can get back there and an excuse for going, but decided I don’t need an excuse other than I want to visit my family. Maybe I will make a trip this fall before bad weather sets in. My mom is scheduled to visit in July and I am really looking forward to that.
I’ve got another video for you today along with a tutorial you can download and print, . I seem to remember promising my up line at On Stage that I would do a video each month so I am getting this in just in time. 🙂 In case you haven’t noticed, I love to make 3-D things. Today’s card is a small one that fits inside a box. I used the Love & Affection stamp set along with ALL of the new In Colors which I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. This card is one we made at this month’s club. We didn’t do the box.
If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with me. Until next time…
It has been quite a while, but I am finally back. Life has been really busy here. Since returning from On Stage, we’ve had some work done on our home…a bathroom remodel actually. The remodel took about a week and another week to get it painted and put back together. Of course yesterday was Mother’s Day and my children, husband and I spent the day in Denver visiting with my daughter. It was a really nice time. Hubby and son returned to town yesterday evening, but I spent the night with her so we could have a little more mother/daughter time.
I’ve done some stamping in the last few weeks, but not as much as I would have liked. I’ve needed a few birthday cards because I am participating in the challenge to bring birthdays back. #imbringingbirthdaysback This card is one I made to send to Stampin’ Up!’s Shannon West. I liked it so much, I made a few more along with a video. I’d originally planned another card set video with another box for this month, but life has been hectic. So, this video is a quick one. I used the bonus stamp set we got in April’s Paper Pumpkin, All About Everything and a stamp set that will be coming out in the new Annual Catalog that will be available on June 1. It is called Love & Affection. I really like this set, and it is too bad that you can’t order it separately…the Paper Pumpkin bonus set that is. But if enough people ask, maybe Stampin’ Up! will make it available. Purely speculation here. 🙂 Here’s the card. I hope you like it.

And the video tutorial is next. I hope you enjoy it!
Until next time…
Today I am sharing my first video tutorial EVER! I am both excited and nervous all at the same time. For my first try, it didn’t turn out so bad, but I realize there is room for improvement. I only plan on getting better from here.
The creation I am sharing is a window box and 4″ x 4″ cards and envelopes I made using the Kinda Eclectic stamp set. As I mention in the tutorial, the cards are too small for the regular mail, but the entire set will make a great gift for someone, and they can use the cards as gift tags.
If you want to download the PDF instructions for this project just click here.
Hope you enjoy the video!
If you have any questions, as always, please feel free to get in touch with me.
