I acquired my love of crochet (and all things crafty) from my Nonna Maria Ellena.  I remember sitting next to her as a child and watching her knit or crochet or cross stitch.  The needles in her hands would move  with lightning speed and accuracy. They moved with such speed they seemed a blur to me.  She is the one that had the patience to teach me.  Oh to sit next to Nonna once more.
