Everywhere we go”…stores are putting up their Christmas displays. I’m not a big fan of this practice. I would prefer to celebrate the holidays in the order in which they appear on the calendar…Halloween/All St.’s Day, Thanksgiving, then Christmas. But I also realize that if I didn’t do my Christmas card class early in the month of November, most people wouldn’t be able to attend and they wouldn’t have their cards ready to go out in the mail over Thanksgiving weekend. That’s when I usually do my Christmas decorating and card writing.
Now some people have given up on the tradition of holiday card writing and I say…Shame on them! There is nothing more special than getting a card from a loved one, even if it has been a year since you last connected.
I know I haven’t been around for a while. It has been a very busy time for me these last few months. In September, I visited my daughter and grand-daughter in Virginia Beach for two weeks. A few weeks after returning, my sister and brother-in-law visited and we did a road trip for two weeks to California mainly to visit Yosemite National Park, but we made a ton of other stops along the way. And finally, On Stage Live in Orlando this pas week.
I hosted my annual Christmas Card Stamp-a-stack this past November 3rd a few days before heading out to On Stage Live in Orlando, Florida and I am just now able to share them with you. Many of the sets I used were from the Annual Catalog so they are repeats from last year. Two were special offers and are no longer available. (Sorry…not sorry! 🙂 And one is brand new from this year’s Holiday Catalog…the reindeer card…which was CASED from the catalog.
Hope you enjoy them. I will have more to share very soon. Until then…
Happy Stamping!
