Decorated Liquid Hand Soap Bottle

Hello Stampers!

Today I am sharing a video for a great little gift idea for this Christmas.  I found these 13 oz. liquid hand soaps the last time I was in one of our local craft stores.  They were only 99 cents!  You can’t beat that!  I bought several and came up with a way to decorate them so I can hand them out at Christmas to those people who, you know, you don’t normally give anything to.  Every year I usually have one or two guests that I don’t normally have on Christmas day…someone is always alone at Christmas…and giving them a little inexpensive gift is just one of my ways to make them feel welcome.  Or, as I mention in the video, I used to give out little gifts to many of my co-workers for the holidays.  When you have a lot of co-workers, you can’t spend a lot of money.  These would make cute little gifts for something like that too.  You watch the video and then you decide what you want to do with these adorable little gifts.  I know some teachers that would appreciate one!  🙂

I only go over the decoration of one bottle in the video.  You can probably guess from the photos how I decorated the others.  I will list the supplies I used on ALL of the bottles, not just the one I do in the video.

If you click on the photo of one of the supply items at the bottom of this post, it will take you directly to my online store.  Or, you can just go ALL the way to the bottom of the post and click on the link to order everything you might need to make this gift, excluding the soap bottle.  🙂

Here you go, and I hope you enjoy!

Sorry, there is no printable tutorial for this one.  🙁

Until next time…

Happy Stamping!

Christmas Pines/Floral Phrases Christmas card & Gift Box

Hey Stampers!

I have another video tutorial for you today.  You can tell that I am still getting over a cold that I got last week.    I spent three days on the couch last week and even took a nap on my bed one day.  I never do that!  Fortunately, I am feeling a lot better but there is still a little congestion.

I got the inspiration for this card and box on Pintrist.  I have to admit that I would have never thought of using the Floral Phrases Thinlits and the Botanical Builders Framelits dies for Christmas cards.  But I REALLY like the way these turned out.  As I mention in the video, the card is decorated exactly as you would the box.  So I only go over creating and decorating the box in this video.
