New Catalog Sneak Peak

Hello Stampers!

I’ve decided to give you a sneak peek of a bundle that will be available in the new Annual Catalog.  This stamp set was inspired by Million Sales Achiever Mary Fish and I love it!  I’ve paired it with a new set of thinlits that will be making its debut at the same time.

I call this one Varied Vases meets Stained Glass Thinlits.  I used the retiring In Color card stock Sweet Sugarplum.   I’m also loving the new thinlits.  I used the square thinlit and cut it out using Sweet Sugarplum.  I then used a square from the Layering Squares Thinlit Dies to cut out a square in the Whisper White piece.  I stamped the image on a solid piece of Whisper White card stock that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″ .  I layered the cut out piece over the stamped piece and popped it up using dimensionals.  I attached the frame with a glue dot under each rhinestone.  You won’t be able to order this bundle until June 1st.

Hope you enjoyed your visit here today!

Until next time…

Happy Stamping!

Stamped Wine Bottle Wall Art

Hey Stampers!

I have a new video for you this month along with a new look on my blog.  Hope you like both.

The video is on a piece of wall art I CASED and created using the Half Full Stamp Set and the STAMPARATUS!   Wooo Hooo!  I finally got mine, and when I did I realized it would be perfect to use on this project.  The Half Full Stamp Set is a carry over from last year’s Holiday Catalog.   The video is a little long, but it is definitely worth the time.   I hope you enjoy making this project as much as I did.

Two items that are not listed in the supply list at the end of this post is a 5 x 7 shadow box frame in black and some washi tape to tack down the edges of your card stock and your letters dies.  Now on the frame, as I show you in the video, you do not need a shadow box frame.  You can use a less expensive $3.00 5 x 7 photo frame if you choose.  Your end product will be just as nice.

Just a reminder that SALE-A-BRATON ends on the last day of this month so if there is anything you have been wanting, but you have been putting of purchasing, now is the time.

Sorry about the glare and shadows in the following photos.

Here is my video!  Enjoy!  🙂

Daisy Delight Gift Bag and Cards

Hello!

As I mention in my first video, it has been way too long!  June and July seemed to fly by.  We left for vacation in June right after the new Annual Catalog went live and July was spent catching up and anticipating the birth of my granddaughter.  My daughter is pregnant due to give birth to baby Stella in September. I can barely contain my excitement!  Yes, I have three other grandchildren through marriage, a 6-year-old and almost 2-year-old grandsons and a 6-year-old grand-daughter.  This one is a little different.  It is MY baby girl having her OWN baby girl and making me a REAL Nonna!   (Italian for Grandma).  I needed to make some shower favors and complete a few crochet projects I had started for her.  That is all done now.  Now we just wait…..:)

As I also mention in the video, I was inspired by July’s Paper Pumpkin to create this gift bag and cards.  I think I call it a box in the videos, but it is really a bag.  For July’s Paper Pumpkin, I created two different sizes of bags; one for the note cards and one for the 5-1/2 x 4-1/4.

So here are the videos.  I hope you enjoy them. Before you watch, you need to know that I mis-called the color of navy card stock in the videos.  I said I used Not Quite Navy (a retired Stampin’ Up! color) when in fact I used Night of Navy.  Sorry.  🙂 If you have any questions, please let me know.

Hey Chick!

It is a cold and cloudy day today here in Colorado.  A good day to stamp!  So I thought I’d share a little of what I’ve been working on with you.

This card is made with a Sale-A-Bration set,  and as far as I am concerned, it is a must have!  Hey Chick is such a cute set.  Being an avid chicken collector (I collect vintage and antique roosters), I was sure to get this set first.

hey-chick-1

I like this chicken because it sort of looks like my hair when I get out of bed in the morning.  It is usually standing straight up on the left side, and this guys hair reminded me of…me!   LOL!  The only difference is my hair isn’t blue and my body isn’t yellow and I don’t have tail feathers.  My husband would tell you otherwise because says I am always getting my tail feathers in a ruffle.  🙂

Here is a graphic of the other stamps in the set.

hey-chick-stamp-setIt is yours free with any $50.00 purchase from my online store. Or you can get one of the following other items.

When I made this card, I used a 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Soft Suede card stock for the base.  The designer series paper is from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack.  The striped piece measures 2 1/2″ x 5 ” and the dotted piece is 2 1/4″ x 4 1/4″.  The top piece of Soft Suede card stock measures 2 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ and the Whisper White piece upon which I stamped measure 2″ x 3″.  I added a piece of Whisper White card stock that measures 4″ x 5 1/4″ to the inside so that I could write a note of thanks in there for a special lady.

I hope  you enjoyed your visit here today.  It was short and I hope sweet!  Until next time

Happy Stamping!
