Hello Everyone!
Hope all of you are doing well. I usually do my posting on Saturday or Sunday, but this weekend was a little busy. I did, however, get the chance to do a little stamping. Saturday I helped my daughter host the launch of her new business, freebird philosophy. You can view what she has to sell by clicking on the link to the right or by visiting the page that is tabbed at the top of this page. She has some really awesome stuff! She visited India this past November and returned this past May with an arm load of clothing and jewelry that is absolutely stunning! And the good part about it is it is all fair trade. 🙂
Yesterday my husband and I spent the day with our 22 month old granddaughter, Madisyn. We took her swimming at the YMCA nearby. She had a blast, and I couldn’t get her out of the water. When we got home it was nap time, and I must report that we both slept well for a couple of hours! LOL! I was exhausted. It takes a lot of effort to hold on to a little one while you are in 3 feet of water.
The card I am posting today holds some washi tape flowers that I made. They are simple and quick. That’s what I like about them the most. Here’s how I made them. I cut out a 3/4″ circle with my circle punch and covered it with sticky strip. Then I took a length, about 12″, of washi tape and twisted it from end to end. I then, starting at the middle of the punched out circle, wound the washi tape around itself to form the flower, sticking it to the circle as I went. I know…that was as clear as mud. If you want photos of how I made them, email me and I would be very happy to send them to you.
Here’s what I used on this card.

Well, that’s all for today. I will be at the Stampin’ Up! Convention in Salt Lake City this week, so you probably won’t hear from me until next Monday again. I am looking forward to the time away with some of my closest friends. I intend on coming back with a lot of new ideas that I will share. Until next time…
Happy Stamping!
Josie
