Endless Birthday Wishes

My husband turned social security age yesterday.  He did a lot of complaining about it before hand.  He kept asking, “How did I get this old?”  My answer to him is what my father’s answer always was, and that is “Keep ’em coming!”  Yup!  Keep those birthdays coming because once they stop…well, … they stop because your are DEAD! And, we want those birthdays to keep on coming.

I think he had a nice 62nd birthday celebration yesterday.  We went to the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs in Buena Vista, Colorado.  Unfortunately, the creek was closed so we couldn’t sit in it.  The run off from the mountains was too great and the temp in the natural pools wasn’t as hot as would have been nice.  But we got to swim in the swimming pools and it was beautiful.  After spending some time there, we went into town and ate lunch at the Eddyline Restaurant and Brewery.  A cute little place in town, they had a delicious tasting light brew for me and a very dark lager for my husband.  Can’t remember what they were called.  I am not a beer drinker. Wine is my adult beverage of choice, but this beer was sumptuous, and it was too bad we weren’t spending the night.  The pizza was also excellent!

In the hopes of keeping those birthdays coming, the card I created uses the Endless Birthday Wishes stamp set.  It’s Stampin’ Up!’s newest photopolymer set.  I love it!  I love all of their photopolymer sets for that matter.  Wait a minute…is there anything Stampin’ Up! makes that I don’t love?   Ahhhhhh…NO!  🙂
