Sick Kitty and a Birthday Card

So our cat is sick again. Poor thing! I never used to be a cat lover until I married my husband 13 years ago. He had always had a cat, and he finally convinced me about 7 years ago that we should have one…then two. Our youngest cat, Tigre, who is 5 years old has been sick for quite a while now. Two weeks ago he didn’t greet me at the bedroom door in the morning like he usually does. He just laid around and refused to eat. A trip to the vet and $650.00 later told us he had a very bad kidney infection. We had to give him an antibiotic for about 20 days, and he had to go in to the vet every other day for a week for IV fluids to flush his kidneys. Two days after finishing his medication, he started vomiting. This went on for three or four days. Now he hasn’t eaten or had much to drink for the last two days. He is at the vet’s again and will be spending the night tonight. I am worried about him. He is a young cat and shouldn’t be this sick. I hate to think of what this is going to cost, and I also hate to think that we might have to put him down. I bawled when we put our dog down in 2007. She had been a part of the family for 14 years. I didn’t think loosing a pet would be so traumatic…but it is…and you don’t understand it until it happens to you.

I’ve been getting a little stamping done since I returned from Convention on Sunday. I have a few things to share with in the next few days. This is just one of the cards I made using the Six-Sided Sampler Stamp Set. (130953-w/130956-c) I love the bright colors on this card. I have always loved bright colors…they always make be feel cheerful. And this card is bright and cheerful. Here it is.
